I took Oscar into the Vet for a check up and also had a sex test to determine if Oscar was indeed an "Oscar", or an,
"Oscarlina" LOL.

It was not surprise when the test came back showing that Oscar was male.

Oscar has been changing his behaviour recently and doing things that he has never done before on his own.
In addition to climbing down off the portable playstand more now, he has taken to "riding" his favorite toys, which are actually on the playstand.

So the other morning we were having breakfast and Oscar is usually there at a meal.
He came down low on his playstand and then showed interest in my food.
Usually I finally figure out what he is wanting.

I happened to be watching a show on dog training. The theme was being calm assertive and then presenting dominance traits. Well, I have still been having a small problem with Oscar wanting to bite me. I have had him 15 months. There is only my partner that shares our home and Oscar is my bird.

Oscar loves his pants! They are my old pants that I donated to him to use. I made them into hanging comfort toys that he chews on and moves around when he goes to bed each night.
There in one that he leans into, and one that touches him from behind.

It is not unsusual for Oscar to be with me at the table during a meal and he continues to throw me surprises.
The other morning I was enjoying a frosty cold glass of orange juice ( I place the glass in the freezer for 10-15 min before I put jut in it.)

Oscar now has two pair of my old pants!
Yes, indeed.
They are hanging in his cage next to his sleeping perch.
These pants were cut up and made for toys and such.
Jeans and dress pants are great for this.

Oscar shares our home with our three cats, one which is a 12 yr old American medium hair, grey cat, then two siamese, a female and the youngest, Charlie, a male.

The eldest cat only cares that we love HIM and then the world is fine in his eyes.

Oscar is such a gem.
I am learning more and more how to read him and know what is going on with him.
For instance,
Maybe he wants water?
No, he wanted more water in the glass before he wanted any at all!

Oscar has had to endure many oddities at our house since he got here.
There have been people coming and going remodeling for a year now.
It started about the time he arrived and there was a crew replacing windows throught our house.
