a 8 year old Blue and gold macaw parrot was the target of
a theft in petland superstore @ 19475 Fraser Hwy, Langley
BC Canada. The theifs driving a stolen Black 2 door car
(possibly a ford mustang) drove into the store windows and
ran past all the expencive, exotic parrots and birds, ran
past the cash register and headed directly for a popular
blue and gold macaw named "samson". This was the second
time he was stolen, He was found safley walking in a
farmers field in aggazi. He has been a part of the store
since the age of one year, and is popular with customers
and kids. A 1000.00 reward has been issued by the store
owner for the safe return of the bird. anyone having
information on this theft can call Surrey RCMP @ 604-599-

I just saw newsbreak, not 30 mins ago, that the bird was found (at a marijuana grow-out!) and has been returned to his Petland home. I'm not sure if this is from the first time. But it soundes as though he has been found after this second theft!

It has been confirmed by the RCMP and Store owner.........Thank you for allowing me to post in your forum, the Surrey RCMP have found the macaw parrot "samson"was in a marijuana grow-op house in surrey, safe, and is back in the arms of its owner. The Police say there have been no arrests and the investigation is on-going. Good news!

I'm glad to hear he's back home safe. What a nightmare that must have been for his owners!
