I have a 7 year old male moluccan and I want to find him a feathered friend. He and this new friend would share the same cage. The cage is large enough to accomadate two grown macaws with room to spare, so space is not an issue.
I'm wondering what specie would be best to try as a friend and how to go about introducing them to one another so they could eventually room together. I'm aware birds, like people, are subject to personal dislikes and likes and if he just doesnt like the other parrot theres no going around it, but what specie would theoritically make a suitable match? I'm not intrested in breeding so a female moluccan cannot be considered.
