Larry and Hawkeye—Hawkeye is a twenty nine year old hyacinth macaw that Larry raised from an egg.
Do you want to be entertained? As well as informed about diets, behavioral enrichment and how to teach your bird to perform exciting behaviors? Teaching your bird to talk is easier then you may think!
Larry interacts with as many birds and people as he can in his programs, which usually last about four hours. He encourages everyone to bring their birds, tame or aggressive. And don't tell Larry you can't teach an old bird new tricks!
Larry has spent over thirty-five years training animals and performing in daily shows. He has trained killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, eagles, hawks, parrots, cougars, grizzly bears, lions and tigers (to name a few!). He has trained animals for movies, commercials, talk shows. And has worked with celebrities such as Bob Hope, Lloyd Bridges, Rex Harrison and Alan Alda. Ask him to share some of his amazing stories!
