well, if you move them to an unprepared nest, then the female my ignore them or destroy them. if it is absolutely necessary that you move them, then put in a prepared nest box ASAP. she accepts it, then good for you.
maybe, depending on the size of the feeding tray, you could put it inside of a nest, and then remove it when the female is accustomed to the nest. is she sitting on the eggs constantly, and is she aggressive?

I recently got an 'experienced' female for my male canary. She had already raised a couple of clutches. Well, the first thing she did was to build her nest in hertheir food cup, even though I placed a nest in their cage. After she laid her eggs, she became really violent toward my male, and I had to remove him. When it turned out the eggs were infertile, I put them back together. She promptly made another nest, and again in their food cup. This time I placed her in the separate cage (the cage was, after all, his originally). Although they hadn't bred, she laid a total of 7 eggs. He sings to her, and she contentedly sits on her 7 infertile eggs. In the spring, I'll put them together to breed, and then separate them so she can lay her eggs...in her food cup :o)
