My cockatiel got tangled in a cloth that my mom put around the cage to keep the pellets in the cage and off the floor, and it was flopping around in a tangled mess. I grabbed the bird and had my dad fetch scissors, then we cut the string off. My bird was terrified and bit me very hard while I held her, my bird has never bit that hard and my thumb was bleeding, so it must have been under tremendous stress.

Now that she is free, she is very quiet and wants to stand on the floor against a corner making no noise. She is currently fluffed up and closing her eyes, what should I do? I called a veterinary center and they told me to leave it on the corner for an hour until she gets her energy back. I'm so worried for my little bird

I would just let her rest quietly in a place she feels safe. She sounds like she's just feeling very stressed, and a good night's rest is really the best thing for her. Don't expect her to be very interested in food until she's had a chance to calm down completely.
If she still is acting stressed out in the morning or seems to have injured her foot, then take her to the vet.
