My little budgie (10 weeks old) has a bruised leg.He was not handfed, but didn't have any fear of hands and was super active. His legs got caught in the cage bars and was hanging upside down, when my aunt rescued him.The vet said that is leg isn't broken but has bruised very very badly. He is standing on one feet all day long.He is having his meals from my hands but i am not handtaming him right now.It would be simple cruel forthe poor baby.
He has stated to be afraid of my hands.I have no idea why.Although he enjoying presence very very much.He is hanging in his cage right beside me, chirping for my attention.I have taken 1 weeks leave from office to keep him company.
The vet said the healing would take anywhere between 3 to 5 weeks and i'll not be training it anyhow.I really really want him to healthy as well as tame.Do you guys think that he'll ever be hand tame??I do need to know what do u think...

He probably will be a little more afraid of hand right now. He was probably terrified when he was caught, and panicked when your aunt rescued him.
It's good not to stress him by trying to handle him. Having him eat from your hands is a good way to tame him. He will certainly lose his fear of hands if you keep doing this. Don't try making him step up while his leg is still hurting him.
