hi
i have just bought my first bird and he is wonderful, friendly, and whistles and sings away but his name is spanish and myself and children find it very hard to pronounce, his previous owners had him for 5 months, would it be too confusing to change the name or should we keep tryin, he seems to have settled straight away and is already sitting on my hand after just 1 hour,as you can tell i am the now proud owner of a new baby lol,any help or advice would be great thanks

Maybe try calling him something that sounds similar to his current name, but is easier for you to pronounce?

I've seen other animals names changed with no difficulty. He's your bird now, call him what you like. He'll learn it.
