I have the great opportunity to adopt 2 3yr old greenwing macaws. They are wonderful, well socialized birds.
I wonder how difficult it is for them to adjust to a new home?
My home can sometimes be a bit ummm...busy, is there anyway I can help make the transition easier for them?
Will the move change their nature in anyway? right now they are not even close to aggressive and I want to insure that this will not change in the move.

I adopted a 5 yr old B&G approx 7 months ago named Oliver.
He was quiet for the first few weeks - getting used to his new home.
He has now bonded with me and shows a great deal of trust and love toward me. He's so much fun and make me laugh every day with his antics.
I did alot of research about Macaws and originally was looking for a GW but Oliver needed a home and I fell for him the first time I met him :)
I've read that the Macaws can adapt quite readily to new homes - if Oliver is any indication then this is true.

I see you posted this awhile ago.... I'm curious.... did you end up taking the pair? How's it going with them?
