I took Oscar into the Vet for a check up and also had a sex test to determine if Oscar was indeed an "Oscar", or an,
"Oscarlina" LOL.
It was not surprise when the test came back showing that Oscar was male.
Since he occasionally rides his toys ( several times a year)
it seems likely that he is male and now it is know for sure.
But what now?
Do I get another bird for him as a mate?
I've heard that since Oscar is a Hybrid it is looked down upon
when someone breeds two Hybrids and make a new species.
Is this really valid?
Is my concern for him and his "needs" valid?
Some needs appear tertiary while others do not and it is all in the eye of the beholder and the experience that is brought into the situation.
He is doing very well in every respect otherwise.
