I have finally convinced my parents, after about six months of arguing with them, to let me get a Green Cheek Conure. I have done a massive ammount of reasearch, and feel confident that I will be able to take care of the bird once I get it.
The only problem is... getting it. I have been searching for weeks on the internet and in person to find a place where I can get a GCC. I've looked in the adoptions, and have been unable to find anything. I've been to pet stores, to bird stores, all over the Valley and still haven't found anything.
The only place I've been able to find that actually stocks GCCs is Petco, and I'd really rather not buy from there. I don't quite trust the birds from there anymore.
Does anybody know of a GCC breeder or a trustworthy store that stocks them that is in the Los Angeles area?
Thanks!
