Ah, the holidays. They bring presents, a big everygreen tree, and joy for all.
In this case, they also brought me a Green Cheeck Conure.

I didn't know I would be getting my bird today; I thought I would have to wait at least another week. But now that Aderyn's here, I'm glad I didn't wait to buy her.

I don't know what the gender is; I'm going to have her sexed.

So far, she's a very sweet bird and seems to be getting on pretty well with my budgie Salty. Aderyn did nip at Salty, but other than that they're doing fine.

If anyone has any tips for encouraging budgie-conure 'peace treaties' as you will, I would love to hear about them.

I'm so happy that I finally receved my beautiful bird Aderyn! It's the best Christmas gift ever!
