its male. I plan on breeding him this spring once I have him tested and find him a mate. He has started plucking
his chest feathers out (now only down is there)but feathers still grow back, with no problem. He also is rubbing his private area on the bars...Is this a form of masturbation? He is 5 years old and I am sure he's wanting a mate. Any help is appreciated.
