Pip's cheek about a week after it was plucked by the vet for possible surgery on a lump. New pinfeathers are coming in.
It turned out the lump was inoperable - right over the jugular - but it turned out to be a granuloma, not cancer as the vet originally feared. It's been several months and it isn't going away but it isn't bothering Pippin one bit either.
