me and my parents just recently got a sun c. we love him and all but he is just.SO LOUD. and screams so much. her bird cage is right by the living and kichen but whenever he is out he screams unless we make him a little tent to play on on the top of the cage to play in... what do we do to stop the screaming!!!!!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

sun conures are known for being loud. Rearrange his toys in his cage often. When mine squaks he usually wants something, food, new water, a bath or just to be on my shoulder. We also have a large tree in our house he loves to sit in!

Also some treats like millet spray will keep him busy, but keep it to a minimal so he doesn't get chubby.

the poor guy probably wants attention.
i have a cockatiel that screams at me to ask me to get her out of the cage.
