I'm not sure what my cockatiel is doing. He will be sitting on top of his cage and then will go to the bottom and just sits and sways. Then after about 10 minutes he goes back ontop on his cage or to his feeder.
His favorite ladder finally broke the other day, it seems like since I removed it he's been acting like this.
Please someone help me!!!

That could be the problem. If he is used to having it in his cage and then it is suddenly gone it could be causing him to act like that. Some cockatiels don't tolerate change very well and it stresses them out and may cause them to act funny. I would recommend taking him to avian vet just to rule out any illnesses. I would also try to go and buy a ladder just like the one that he had. It could just be that he is stressed because he doesn't have the ladder anymore or it could be something else. I would definitely take him to the vet to rule out any illnesses and then get the ladder. Cockatiels can be very good at hiding illnesses. I know mine has.
