Have a 2 year old Military Macaw that I got from a previous owner a couple of months ago that is normally tame except when he is on his playstand. Sometimes he can get extremely aggressive and in a biting mood when I try to get him to "step up" on my hand or arm. I have been attacked several times when he is sitting on his playstand perch.
He never shows this kind of behavior anywhere else.
Why is he doing this when he is perched on the playstand?
He seems fairly happy otherwise sitting there.
Any suggestions?
