I am thinking of breeding budgies, and need some advice. i currently have 2 cocks and am thinking of getting 2 hens.
On some websites it says that each pair should have their own cage for breeding, whereas, on another site is says that they like breeding in groups, and should be kept together.
Which is right?

Either is ok. They do like breeding in groups but having pairs in seperate cages, in earshot of each other, is just as good. If you want to breed them in the same cage, there should be at least one extra nestbox, and all nestboxes should be at about the same height. Females will fight over preferred nesting spots.
