I have had Pretty Girl, my parakeet for 4years now and in the past 6months her beak has really been growing I have taken her in 3 times now to have it trimmed because she couldn't eat.Can anyone tell me what the problem might be.
I have not changed any food or anything. She has plenty of cement and sand perches, but she just uses them on the sides of her beak and not the end, which makes it skinny and long

Unfortunately the beak overgrowing is a sign of health problems. It would be best to get her to a vet.
The worst would be liver problems. They can cause beak overgrowth and sometimes bruising in the beak (seen as darker marks on the beak). Depending on how bad it is, a diet change might help a little.
Another possibility would be scaley face mites. But you would also see other signs, the cere (and eventually the face and feet) would look crusty. The mites can cause permanent damage. They are easy to get rid of but that requires and injection from the vet - pet store sprays and stuff won't help.
