Damnit they are so hard to find :-( I'm trying to get a hen scarlet to breed with my male. I'm in the UK.

Volunteer work at your local zoo can be really rewarding. Zoo people are a pretty tight nit group and pretty influential when the wont to be. You can really expand your knowledge of all kind of parrots. The keepers are a tremendous resource for knowledge and ‘how too’ info. You can usually get some free advice from the zoo contract Vet and usually someone can get you on an inside track on getting that bird you want, usually for free, but first you’ll have to earn their respect. I started by picking up poop in the petting zoo and breaking up fights between the goats and the children.
