Hi Nate, the reply button was not on your last post and I have a question for you as I am working on this with Bazil. How have you been getting Darwin to go into his carry cage up untill now ie. have you been placing his food inside and the physically putting him in there and closing the door and letting him eat then opeing up once he is done?

Almost - the only difference is that I have no been closing the door after he goes in. For now I want him to feel that going in does not mean that he has to stay in. He can leave whenever he wants. For now it's my job to make him want to stay.

Feeding his evening meals in the travel cage has completely changed his attitude toward the travel cage. Yesterday he climbed in on his own, twice. Once before I got a chance to put him in to eat, and the second time I didn't even realize he'd gotten hungry again.

This is encouraging, hopefully he's learning that it's a good place to go when he gets hungry.
