Good things about small birds. They can manuever somewhat easily inside.

My biggest bird is a CAG and he does well also. The main doorways are wide arches or double doors, the only narrow door is into the kitchen where they're no longer allowed since I started my business, but when he did fly through that he had no problem...he's really a medium-sized bird I guess, a 1200 gm cockatoo or macaw probably wouldn't have the space to get much speed like the smaller ones do though.

My next house will definitely be chosen with flight in mind!

Bean (MM) has to suck the wings in to go through doorways. But it only take him 2-3 seconds to sly from one end to the other - about 80 feet.

It is so disheartening to read posts (another one on usenet today) that birds weren't made to fly indoors so they should be clipped...not to get off on a tangent here but birds weren't made to be kept behind bars, eat manufactured/processed food-wannabe's, sit on plastic perches for hours or days or weeks, etc...and for that matter, they weren't made with clipped wings either...

SO, my point being, that I love reading things like what you just wrote :). YOU GO BEAN! lol
