Does FF resize the pictures when they are posted? Or do I need to resize them first? I'm not sure how to do it, without using the 'send to' feature in XP. When I go to browse, it just posts it in the original size.

Hi Dee.
I was also having problems trying to figure out how to 'do' the photo thing at the beginning. It turned out to be really simple. I think if you click on this -

it should take you back to all the helpful info. that I got. :)

Dee,

I use a free program called IrfanView that can be down loaded from http://www.irfanview.com/ Once installed you can resize/resample pictures under the image menu. Does alot more, and is simple to use. I would recommend it to all. And the price is right.

The maxium image size has just been reset to 800*800 as I was having problems uploading a 600*800 photo. (because the max was 800*600)

Yep. Everything Murray said. :-)

It's kind of annoying to upload a big picture and then find out its rejected due to size... that's happened to me as well so I know what you're talking about. It would be helpful if the web server resized large images down until they fit within the maximum... I'll see if I can make it do that.

Hi Nate,
What about my pics? I've been trying to upload them to my personal gallery and the outcome is no images there. But when sending them all the steps are accordingly verified! It's a bit strange, is it not?
By the way, due to some reasons beyond my comprehension, I was not authorized to the general discussion page when I wanted to put this question up. Could yopu possibly tell me what's going on?

I was tinkering with the software earlier this evening, and it was broken for a little while. Then my ISP went down for 15 minutes or so. Either on might have caused the problem you had just now.

I'm still not sure why your images aren't appearing, but I hope we can figure this out soon!
