Yes I liked this one. It was good (not really) to see that the hawks will take down something larger than themselves. I have become more weary of whats around as things progress. Also with Emily's loss to a Racoon - wouldn't hav thought about that in the past.
An hour up in the tree makes you look at a lot of things. A days worth of flying outside would open up a whole world of variables.

Yeah, I was surprised to learn that hawks will attack birds bigger than themselves as well. One went after a friend's (significantly bigger) cockatoo while they were both perched on a branch, but fortunately the cockatoo was able to intimidate the hawk and it went away. Those were some very tense moments though.
BTW
it was Naomi who lost a bird to a raccoon. It was Emily who wrote about it.
