Hi Nate.....how about a 'how to' page?

How to post photos seems to be the question asked most often.
How to subscibe/unsubscribe to a thread.
How to use the search.
How to view the user list.
How to view user profiles.

Just a few to be starting with......I'm sure we can come up with more to keep you even busier than you already are!! :)

If I make a 'how to' page (and I will, it's a great idea), where should I put the link to the 'how to' page?

I'm not sure where to put the link to the user list page either. Is there room in the grey bar at the top, or would two more links make it wider than everyone's screens? I use huge monitors and small fonts, so I'm not really sure.

Heaps of room on my screen if that's any help. I think putting them in the grey bar would make them easy to see.

Yes well "Heaps" is a subjective (will I say it, No) thing.

Nate, on my screen the grey tool bar goes half way across the screen.

Debbi, a how to... is a great idea.

When you've gotten to the bottom of a really active thread it would be really good to have a few 'return to' keys instead of having to scroll back up to the top again. (Boy, am I lazy!)

You know my kids have just enlighten me to the fact that you can click the scroll button to put a picture on the screen that allows you to automatic scroll. Ideal for those lazy members amongest us. LOL

How?

If you have the mouse with the rotating scroll button in the middle, then by clicking it, it puts a small picture on the screen. If you now move the mouse pointer above the picture, it scolls backwards. The more above the faster it scrolls. Like wise, if you put it under it scrolls down.

Deddi, any luck with installing MSN online contacts yet?

Ooh wow.... that was cool! :) I'm quite dizzy with all the exercise.

I'm not allowed to do 'major' stuff like installing things on this machine as I tend to get into strife. I did something yesterday that did something horrific to the Desktop and I had to endure the dreaded lecture while he tried to fix it!
Anyway, I'm going to ask Pete to sort out the contacts thingy when he comes off night shift and he reverts back to a human being again instead of a grumpy zombie! :)

Nate,

I see we have "People" Now? And alot more than I thought. I counted just under 300 members. Things are starting to move very quickly. I mean I have to go back pages to catch up on what has happen each day.

Congratulations Nate, and the members of this group.

Thanks Murray! I wrote an article for the last issue of the Avian Health Network newsletter and I think that has drawn a few new people to the web site. Come to think of it, I should be posting those newsletters here, too.

Hi to Nate, who I am desperetly trying to get in touch with....he is not an easy man to find......reguarding one of his web sites that we would like to purchase as it is very important to a project that we are doing. I would really appreciate a way to communicate concerning this. It is very important. Thank you so much. (And I appoligize for intruding on this site.)

On the home page, could you add a feature where a caption shows over each picture when the mouse passes over it? People could caption their photos to id the birds and owners.

Mail sent to Carol, captions added to the picture bar.
I wish all requests were this easy. :-)
