A friend of mine used to have a sun conure but she had to give him away and now she misses his terribly. I've been looking everywhere for a stuffed animal of her bird but I've ad no luck. Does anyone

My budgie was always a little tempremental but the past like week hes been very very aggresive bitting anyone who got close and even picking on his friend. today I took him out with a glove on to try and get a bit of exercise, I chased him about a bit letting him fly around the house.

The right bird for me?

Hello everyone. I'm new to feather forum. I am thinking about getting a bird, and I would like any suggestions. I am looking for the kind of bird that is medium to small sized, lovable, and gets along good with children ( mine are ages 13,9 and 3.) I would like the bird to eventually learn to talk. I would also like a bird that would not mind being kept as a single (I am home all day), or maybe with one more of it's kind. Two birds would be my limit.

Hi, I read this survey about where birds sleep, and I
saw 5% of the people sleep with their birds. Does this
mean the bird sleeps in the room? on a perch? or as in

i hve a male cockatiel approx. 2 yrs old and i have noticed a patch on his wing is getting darker. i hav checked him he is not sore, its not blood or oil. plese help me i dont know if i should be concerned please let me know if i should take him to a vet.

My diva conure parrot Sessie, yes, she is spoiled rotten but she is doing something that is worrying me. For about 2-3 months now she will lose her orange belly feathers and then they regrow and then she looses them again. Of course she doesn't act sick at all, but I know they usually don't, when something is wrong, She just turned a year old december 2007, and she went thru her big first molting, but this thing with her loosing her orange belly feathers has me worried, is this common or should I get her to a vet? Thanks for any help!!

I just received a red lored amazon. This is her 4th home. At first she was very sweet to me. She loved when I pet her and constantly called for me. Today was a different story. She doesn't want me in the same room as her.

Should I get a cockatoo or a cockatiel?

You see, Im a first time bird owner and would love either of these breeds. Im wondering which would be better suited with a household of one child, and 2 dogs.(They dont bother birds) I'd love on that can talk or have silly tricks. I've searched online and can find results. Can you help me decide?
