I just don't know what happened!!!!
My African Grey has been a little on the quiet side the last few days...but she sometimes goes through her days where she likes to be left alone. In the 6 years I've had her, it's happened once a year or so. So, naturally I didn't think anything of it, she was active, eating, and looking just fine.
Bathing
Have a female African Grey Timneh which is about 7 years old. I realize that this is mostly my fault but, I never got her used to water. She refuses to bath and hates being sprayed. On very rare occasions I have noticed her trying to get a bit wet in her water dish but like said, this is VERY rare.
Describe the homemade toy you made for your grey
I am looking for ideas on what kinds of toys or entertainment items to provide for my grey. I know pet stores have lots of bird toys and I have some of those, I would like to try to create some challenging puzzles to stimulate Scarlet into playing with toys.
toe deformity
I've seen a CAG that has a deformed toe on one foot. It curls up and over the toe beside it (nail looks like its digging into the other toe).
When I asked the clerk at the store about it she said that this is not uncommon with Greys due to calcium deficiency.

tude poo
I have been volunteering in an aviary for over a year and get along well with almost all of the birds.
However, consistently it is the greys (Congo) who bite me, growl at me, and in general give me attitude.

Grey terrified of her carrying case.
Max (my grey) is coming with me to Costa Rica this december. My dopey ass forgot that she needs to get used to the carrying case she's gonna be in order to reduce the amount of stress she has to deal with. So I'm leaving in 2 weeks, and I wanted to know if anyone had any tips.
My Grey "vomites" when it gets to excited.
She is a happy bird. Loves to sing, like to chase you saying "core
core core" (This is Run run run in spanish). She eats well, loves to
play, and is incrediblely affectionate. Yet something is concerning.
